Description

A virtually mint condition Carl Bercker Sr. violin from 1946. The number given on the label is also engraved within the peg box.
The violin will come with an appraisal from Reuning & Son. If you desire a certificate of authenticity, although there is no need for such with a Becker violin, I'll get that done, but buyer will pay Reuning directly for his certificate.

In a shop, you'll see them sell for sixty-thousand USD. The last one sold at Tarisio auction in 2020, sold for that amount.
The one before that sold for forty-seven thousand.
Becker violins are not copied or forged, so you don't need a certificate of authenticity. I already have an appraisal. But you want a certificate of authenticity for your violin before you buy it, I can back to Reuning and you pay him directly for the certificate—probably another three thousand.
