  • Condition: Old restored Italian violin dating back to the late seventeen hundreds. it has been professionally restored. there are two cracks running towards the neck from the left f hole and one joining the two halves of the back. All these cracks have been professionally repaired. There are of course many nicks and scratches that have been attended. In essence this violin has been set up in Bologna, Italy.The only thing I did here is fit the instrument with Pirastro Eudoxa strings because of its age.The sound id sweet and not loud snd brash. Most important, it will make a fine instrument as it is a certified Italian violin.I took some of my owm photographs but have included the certificate from Alexandro Urso with his official description. it is all in Italian, which I do not speak.

    Fine old Italian 4/4 violin with certificate. Recently set up and ready to play. The sound is sweet and even on all strings and would make an ideal instrument for ensemble playing.
    it would also be a good investment.I bought this instrument directly from a dealer in Italy and at my request he provided a certificate from Alexandro Urso a well known luthier and expert on Italian violins.
