Beautiful German Violin - Fine Rich Tone!

Description

Here is a beautiful old German violin made after Guarneri from the turn of the 20th century.
It is in good condition for its age, fully lined and blocked. The woods are gorgeous in this violin, very fine-grained spruce top, beautiful deep flamed back and sides. There are a few old non-critical repairs to the top that are professionally made and solid. The scroll is masterful and individualistic. The varnish is of a red brown golden color. It has a lovely glow in the light.
The tone is very good! It's crisp, clear, sweet, rich, and has nice presence! The setup could be improved, but even as it is, this violin loves to sing. It’s a gem with good potential.
