Description
Eku– traditional Okinawan kobudo weapon. Eku is a wooden boat oar made of Japanese red oak. The length of the ecu is about 160 cm. The outer edges of the flat blade are narrowed and slightly sharpened, the end of the oar is also pointed at an angle. Kobudo masters applied chopping and stabbing blows with an oar blade, and working with a handle resembled working with a pole.
