  • Condition: A majestic old German violin listed only as a COPY of Antonius Stradivari but certified as made around 1880 by an unknown artist. it was sold to me by a very reputable French seller and I am also enclosing a picture of the document though I must point out that this is not a real certificate because the maker is unknown. It has a fine resonant mellow tone and is a concert instrument. it is ready for playing having been set up with a new sound post, bridge and pegs. There are the usual nicks and scratches here and there but the only crack I can see has been professionally repaired.There are no sound post or bass bar defects.I have no doubts about the quality of this fine violin and I offer a 14 day return for any reason.

    Description

    Very fine old(1880) German copy of Antonius Stradivarius. Excellent instrument that will satisfy the most discerning player.
    Its sound is deep and mellow and inclined towards he dark side with no shrillness in the higher strings.
