There are certain brands in the fashion world which have survived the test of time and are as iconic today as they were 50 years ago. GUCCI is definitely at the top of this group and deservedly so.
Today we are listing two vintage enameled chain link belts which are prime examples of why the designer’s reputation and desirability is stronger than ever. This one is cobalt blue enamel over gold tone metal links in very good vintage condition. Dating from the 1970’s, one of the links has a very small scratches which can only be seen by inspecting each one individually and not detectable when worn.
The belt measures 29” long with each link measuring approximately 1 1/2” long by 1/2” wide. Each blue disc has the double G Gucci logo in gold over a circular cream colored base. The bar closure is inscribed Made in Italy and GUCCI. This is one fabulous collectible which, along with the white enamel belt listed separately, will give you years of continuing use and pleasure.
