Pallet of Assorted Vintage Open Face Helmets
We bought 12 tractor-trailer loads of motorcycle parts inventory from Dixie International / Dixie Distributing when they liquidated their entire inventory. Since we have several warehouses of other inventory that were still going through, we are offering to sell pallet loads of this inventory. As we get could up, we will be pulling these pallets off of eBay and selling the items individually. Until then, here is your chance to buy in bulk. Some of these pallets were stacked 6 foot tall so we broke them down into single layers so that you can see what you’re buying. We cut the lids off the boxes and took pictures. Please keep in mind that what you see in the pictures in a box; the rest of the box should be that item but we did not check. Also, we do not know if the rest of the box’s contents is in the same condition as what is on the top layer. Our recommendation is that you come here physically to check the pallet of parts and make sure it is what you want. We are selling it as is with no guarantees or warranties and no right to return. Below, you will find a list of the part numbers that we found, a quick description of that part, and a approximation of the quantity that is in that box. Again, it would behoove you to be here to look for yourself. This particular pallet’s content is as follows:
The first picture is an overhead view of the pallet. The pallet contains four large boxes. Most if not all of the helmets in the boxes are vintage open face helmets. We are selling these as decorative items only and not for road use. These are probably from the 1960s and 1970s and we cannot verify the structural integrity. We listed them is used because there is probably some damage on some of or most of them because they were not individually boxed. As you can see in the pictures, one of the boxes is almost completely full. One of them appears to be about 7/8 full. Another one looks to be about two thirds full. The last one looks to be about three quarters full.
The second, third and fourth pictures are close-ups of the individual boxes.
The fifth picture is a close-up of individual helmets from one of the boxes and may or may not be indicative of the condition of the rest of the helmets on this pallet.
Payment Methods:
Credit Card
: We accept MasterCard and Visa. The cardholder must be present at the time of pick up and present a valid photo ID which has the same address as the credit card’s billing address. We will NOT process a credit card payment without the cardholder present! If the credit card is declined the item will not be turned over.
Cash
: Cash will be accepted for payment at the time of pick up.
Paypal
: Due to PayPal protection policies we can NOT accept PayPal payments for items which are NOT shipped to a verified address. We will NOT make any exceptions to this policy.
Pickup Terms:
This item will NOT be shipped; it must be picked up from one of our warehouse in the Dover, DE area. Pick up must be made within 10 days of committing to buy the item on eBay. Pick up can be scheduled during our normal business hours which are Monday thru Friday 9 am to 5 pm and Saturday 9 am to 4 pm Eastern Standard Time (EST). Please email us to schedule a pickup appointment, do not assume you have an appointment until you receive a confirmation email from us.
We can assist you with loading the item into your vehicle if you have an appropriately sized vehicle. We will not assist loading this item into a vehicle which is too small or unable to safely transport the item. You are responsible to provide appropriate tie-downs and secure the item in your vehicle for transport. We are NOT responsible for any damages your vehicle may sustain while loading or transporting this item.
Final Sale Terms:
This is a final sale item; therefore returns are NOT accepted unless the item is materially different than described or pictured. We ask that you closely review the pictures shown and at the time of pick up thoroughly look over the item before taking possession of it.
If after taking possession of the item you find the item is not as described or pictured please contact our Customer Service department as soon as possible so we can resolve the issue.
