    Description

I have a batch of Scotch 177, also marketed to retail customers as 212, on 10 1/2 metal reels. The reels are embossed with the Scotch logo and unmarked / no labels. The boxes have writing only on the back - see the example photo.
This is from the 70's, not back-treated, and not affected by sticky shed syndrome. It's a good reliable low noise tape, not mastering tape, ideal for everyday recording on vintage tape recorders.
I've sampled the batch and couldn't find anything recorded except background noise. The notes on the back of the boxes appear to be times / dates and tape counter numbers, so I'm assuming that these were used to log something like radio transmissions and not much was happening. Therefore I think it's safe to assume that these have been run through maybe a couple of times.

COLORADO SALES TAX CHANGE 1st December 2018.
As of this date, as a Colorado-based business, I am required to charge sales tax based on your location in Colorado rather than my location. Based on my in-state sales volume, the way I am going to do this is set a flat rate of 9% and refund the difference BEFORE I SHIP. As I'm human (I hope), I will forget occasionally, so please remind me if necessary. If you are in a location where the sales tax is above 9% and below 10%, I will absorb that difference. If your location is charging 10% or more, I will send a message requesting payment of the difference by Paypal. I hope that this will be a short term situation as ebay is progressively automating sales tax collection state by state.
