Vintage Walt Disney Productions West Germany frosted mercury glass Snow White and The Seven Dwarves Christmas Ornament balls in their original box; these look to have been made from the early to mid 1960's to the early 1970's; so right on the edge of being vintage Disneyana.  I have placed them into the vintage section, before 1968, based on the company that was selling them and the box type I have founded dated on other ornaments they sold; however, it is possible I am off by a couple of years and these were made just after 1968.  The set includes six (6) balls and has transfer decals of various dwarves and Snow White.  Some of the frosting dust has begun to fall from the mercury glass; but from what I have seen in other examples this appears to be very common and many are missing most of this frosting.  A couple of sellers, that had owned these since new, mentioned that the frosting had always left residue when touched; so, this may just be the "nature of the beast" and is how they were designed.  Some of the decals have begun to chip off of some of the ornaments to varying degrees; but none to where it greatly takes away from the overall look of the ornaments when hung or distorts the image to where the subject matter can not be easily determined.
