Description
Jo - a wooden stick, imitating a fighting spear. Used for training in many martial arts - aikido, jodo, jo-jutsu, ninjutsu, kobudo, etc. It is practiced as a pair of work with jo and pair work with jo and bokken. In addition, a large arsenal of techniques is developed from a wooden stick without weapons. There are also many options for solo work with jo (jo kata).The jo is treated with oil, which gives it an excellent appearance and provides protection against moisture.
